where the lines between crime and survival blur. With an intense narrative that exposes the city’s raw and gritty underbelly, the show boasts a stellar cast, including Jackie Shroff, Bhoomika Meena, and Sikandar Kher. Helmed by director Ravi Jadhav and produced by Harman Baweja and Vicky Bahri, ‘Chidiya Udd‘ promises a gripping journey through the city’s darkest corners.
Sikandar Kher delivers a compelling performance as Akram Khan, the ambitious son of feared gangster Qadir Khan. Determined to claim dominance over Kamathipura, Akram’s thirst for power drives him into a dangerous spiral of internal conflicts and deep-seated demons. His complex relationship with his father fuels his insecurities, vulnerability, and growing resentment toward Babu Rao. As he battles his inner turmoil, Akram’s relentless pursuit of validation and supremacy leads him down an increasingly perilous path, testing the limits of his will, loyalty, and soul.
Reflecting on his role, Sikandar Kher shared, “Akram Khan is shaped by the shadow of his father, leaving him deeply insecure and longing for the love he never received. That void fuels his aggression and jealousy, but underneath it all lies a raw vulnerability that adds depth to his character. Portraying Akram was an intense yet fulfilling experience, made even more rewarding by our brilliant director Ravi Jadhav. I was fortunate to work alongside incredible co-actors—Jaggu Dada, whose wisdom and warmth feel like a tight hug; Mayur, a powerhouse of talent; Bhoomika, who brings pure fire to every scene; and Mitaji, whose effortless brilliance elevated each moment.”
