Grow-Trees.com has launched an ambitious tree plantation campaign to make India greener and healthier in 2025. The initiative includes a special forest named the Ratan Tata Memorial Forest, along with urban green projects aimed at improving air quality and biodiversity across the country.
The Ratan Tata Memorial Forest will be created in the Indian Himalayan region, with nearly 400,000 trees planted in the Nainital and Almora districts of Uttarakhand. Citizens can plant trees in memory of the late Ratan Tata and write tributes as part of the project. The plantation will run until December 28, 2025, the birth anniversary of the iconic philanthropist.
In addition to this, Grow-Trees.com is committed to planting 3 million trees in various regions of India, particularly in urban areas affected by pollution, like Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkata. Trees will act as carbon sinks, purify the air, and help mitigate the effects of pollution.
Pradip Shah, co-founder of Grow-Trees.com, said, “As we start the new year, we must focus on improving air quality. Our mission for 2025 is to plant 3 million trees to reduce pollution and help create a cleaner, greener future.”
Grow-Trees.com is also running other initiatives like Trees for Ram Bhoomi, Trees+ for Coastal Ecosystems, and Trees for Cities. The company invites individuals, businesses, and institutions to join their mission of restoring the environment and making a positive impact.
Through the Greet with Trees initiative, people can gift trees for special occasions and send personalized eTreeCertificates to their friends, family, or colleagues. For more information and to participate, visit Grow-Trees.com.
