The overwhelming response to the Dhurandhar trailer has prompted an early release of the highly anticipated track ‘Ishq Jalakar – Karvaan’. Since the trailer dropped on 18th November, it has amassed over 50 million views on YouTube, creating a massive wave of excitement among fans. In response, Saregama, Jio Studios, and B62 Studios decided to fast-track the track’s release to satisfy the growing demand.
The trailer instantly captivated audiences with the haunting melody of this powerful Qawwali. Originally composed by the legendary Roshan Lal, the song has been reimagined for today by Shashwat Sachdev and Roshan Lal, preserving its timeless essence while introducing a contemporary touch.
Fans wasted no time, flooding social media with edits, reels, and short-form videos of the track, all urging the makers to release the full version. The reinterpreted version features the soulful voices of Shashwat Sachdev, Shahzad Ali, Subhadeep Das Chowdhury, and Armaan Khan, while the lyrics beautifully blend the timeless words of Sahir Ludhianvi with modern phrasing by Irshad Kamil. The result struck a deep emotional chord with listeners.
Adding to the song’s buzz, Ranveer Singh’s captivating screen presence in the trailer further amplified the excitement, making the track an instant topic of pop culture conversations even before its official release. Directed by Aditya Dhar and produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar, the film’s entire music album is under Saregama. Dhurandhar is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on 5th December.
