The zombies are back, and this time, they are bigger, deadlier and more chaotic than ever. On the occasion of superstar Teja Sajja’s birthday, People Media Factory has officially announced the much-awaited sequel to the blockbuster Zombie Reddy. Titled Zombie Reddy Nxt Lvl, the upcoming adventure zombie action-comedy promises to take the franchise to a much larger scale, with bigger action, an expanded world and an army of the undead.

The announcement video offers a thrilling glimpse into the madness that awaits. In one striking sequence, Teja Sajja is seen standing alone against thousands of zombies, instantly establishing the massive scale of the sequel. The film is designed as a high-octane entertainer that blends action, comedy, adventure and zombie mayhem, while taking the original film’s concept several steps further.

Teja Sajja will reprise his role and lead the franchise into its next chapter. Joining him is Real Star Upendra, who will be seen in a powerful role. The film also marks the South Indian cinema debut of Shanaya Kapoor, adding another interesting dimension to the ensemble cast.

Zombie Reddy Nxt Lvl is directed by Suparn S. Varma, known for projects such as The Family Man 2, Rana Naidu and Haq. The film is created by Prasanth Varma, the filmmaker behind the original Zombie Reddy, while the screenplay has been written by Hussain Dalal, Prasanth Varma and Suparn S. Varma.

The technical team also brings considerable experience to the project. Music composer Gowra Hari, who previously delivered popular soundtracks for HanuMan and Mirai, is responsible for the film’s music. Produced on a massive scale by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under the People Media Factory banner, the sequel aims to combine Indian commercial entertainment with a larger international appeal.

Speaking about the film, Teja Sajja said that Zombie Reddy was a major leap for him and that the response to the original gave the team the confidence to dream bigger. He described the sequel as a more ambitious project with greater scale, action and a much larger world. For the actor, returning to a franchise that holds special significance makes his birthday announcement even more memorable.

Director Suparn S. Varma explained that zombies represent collective fears surrounding the loss of control and the breakdown of social order. For him, Zombie Reddy Nxt Lvl is an opportunity to explore that idea through an unapologetically chaotic and visually ambitious cinematic world.

Producer TG Vishwa Prasad highlighted the film’s global vision, describing it as an attempt to create a cross-cultural Indian commercial spectacle. The sequel is set to release globally in seven languages Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, Nepali and Japanese.

With thousands of zombies, a larger-than-life hero and an ambitious international release, Zombie Reddy Nxt Lvl is gearing up to deliver a whole new level of zombie entertainment. The film is slated to arrive in 2027, with the makers aiming to redefine the scale of Indian commercial cinema for global audiences.
