The Indian government has appointed Finance Secretary Tuhin Kanta Pandey as the new Chairperson of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) for a three-year term. He will take charge on 1 March 2025, succeeding Madhabi Puri Buch, whose tenure ends on 28 February 2025.
