The festive season brings people together across homes, neighbourhoods and community spaces. From festive pandals to family gatherings, these occasions create opportunities for people to meet, celebrate and share experiences.
This festive season, Coca-Cola India is expanding its presence across Maharashtra and other states. The company is working with its bottling partner Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB) to strengthen beverage availability across different festive occasions.
Wider Festive Network
Coca-Cola India and HCCB are increasing their presence through a network of local partnerships and community touchpoints. These include festive pandals, Resident Welfare Associations and neighbourhood markets.
The initiative also covers eateries, retail outlets and other locations that see increased consumer activity during the festive period. The focus is on making beverages available closer to where people gather and celebrate.
The company is also strengthening its engagement with local retailers and trade partners. These businesses form an important part of the distribution network during the festive season.
From Stores to Homes
The festive experience is not limited to public celebrations. Many people also celebrate with family and friends at home.
Coca-Cola India is therefore focusing on both in-store and at-home occasions. Consumers can access its beverages through neighbourhood retailers, retail partners and quick-commerce platforms.
Affordable pack options are also part of the approach. The company says its retail and distribution network, along with cooling infrastructure and last-mile availability, will support access to chilled beverages.
This means consumers can purchase beverages while visiting festive pandals, eating out, gathering at home or travelling between celebrations.
Supporting Local Businesses
Desmond Nikhil D’Souza, Vice President – Integrated Operations (HCCB) & Commercial, Coca-Cola India & Southwest Asia, said the festive season has a special significance across Maharashtra.
He said the company aims to support celebrations through beverage availability and local partnerships. He also highlighted the role of retailers and vendors in creating economic opportunities during the festive period.
Vinay Nair, Chief Commercial Officer, HCCB, said Maharashtra’s festive season brings together communities, neighbourhood businesses and local markets.
According to Nair, the company’s manufacturing and distribution capabilities are supported by a wide retail network across the state. He also pointed to the importance of local businesses and supply-chain partners.
Focus on Recycling
The festive initiative also includes efforts around used PET bottle collection and recycling.
Coca-Cola India and HCCB are partnering with festive pandals on used PET bottle collection initiatives. The companies are also exploring creative ways to reuse discarded materials.
As part of this effort, bottle caps and labels have been transformed into a live installation called ‘Waste to Wonder’. The initiative has been developed in association with street artists Doodle Mapuls.
The artwork aims to give discarded materials a new creative expression. It also highlights the importance of collective responsibility towards waste recovery and recycling.
The festive programme builds on Coca-Cola India’s ‘Locally Yours’ campaign. Neighbourhood retailers remain an important part of this wider network.
Through its festive initiatives, Coca-Cola India is combining beverage availability with local partnerships and recycling efforts. The focus remains on reaching consumers while supporting the businesses and communities that play a role in festive celebrations.
