The Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India (CREDAI) has announced the launch of its first-ever CREDAI Awards for Real Estate Excellence, set to take place on December 19, 2025, in New Delhi. The awards aim to recognise developers and projects that exemplify innovation, accountability, and purpose-driven growth in India’s evolving property sector.
The initiative comes at a time when India’s real estate market is shifting towards greater transparency, quality, and accountability, bolstered by reforms such as RERA, GST, IBC, digitisation of land records, and liberalised FDI norms. These awards also support key national priorities, including affordable housing and sustainable urban development, highlighting developers who are reshaping the industry while contributing positively to communities.
All entries will be independently evaluated by CRISIL, ensuring credibility, fairness, and adherence to the highest industry standards. The awards will cover projects across Tier-1, Tier-2, and Tier-3 cities, offering a truly national platform for recognition.
“The CREDAI Awards celebrate the real changemakers of Indian real estate — developers who raise industry standards, build responsibly, and create lasting value for the nation,” said Shekhar Patel, President, CREDAI. “By focusing on transparency, sustainability, and integrity, these awards honour those who combine innovation with accountability and profit with purpose, leaving a positive impact on communities for generations.”
The awards will recognise excellence across residential, commercial, mixed-use, green developments, senior citizen projects, and young achievers, with each category assessed through a multi-parameter framework evaluating design, execution, sustainability, and community impact.
By bringing together developers, policymakers, and investors, the inaugural ceremony will serve as a landmark platform to celebrate achievement, encourage dialogue, and showcase projects shaping the future of Indian real estate. CREDAI hopes this initiative will strengthen the bridge between policy intent and on-ground practice, ensuring that the industry’s growth remains inclusive, transparent, and future-ready.
The first edition of the CREDAI Awards promises to be a defining moment, recognising those who are transforming Indian cities and communities through responsible and innovative real estate development.
