Easebuzz has introduced Buzzing for Bharat, a strategic platform created to help India’s Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) digitise, innovate, and expand globally. The initiative started with the Digital Excellence Awards (DEA) 2025 held in Mumbai on 6 October 2025.
Built as a long-term ecosystem, Buzzing for Bharat by Easebuzz focuses on strengthening MSMEs through three key pillars — recognition, access, and enablement. It aims to solve challenges that small businesses face in accessing finance, adopting digital tools, and connecting to markets.
Under the first pillar, recognition and validation, the platform helps MSMEs showcase innovation and gain exposure among investors, policymakers, and financial institutions. It provides a trusted space where small enterprises can demonstrate their growth potential and attract attention from key industry stakeholders.
The second pillar, access to capital, connects MSMEs with funding opportunities. Through partnerships with banks, venture capital firms, and financial institutions, Easebuzz ensures that businesses can find the financial backing needed to scale operations and remain competitive in a rapidly changing economy.
The third pillar, digital enablement and mentorship, is at the heart of Buzzing for Bharat. It offers digital tools, compliance guidance, and expert mentorship to help MSMEs integrate technology into their day-to-day business processes. The initiative also features a Global Market Accelerator, designed to open doors for MSMEs to enter international markets and achieve sustainable global expansion.
According to Parimal Srivendu, Group Head at Easebuzz, the platform brings together stakeholders across the ecosystem to help small businesses digitise, access capital, and grow globally. He said the Digital Excellence Awards mark the beginning of a long-term mission to build digital inclusion and enhance the competitiveness of India’s MSME sector.
MSMEs play a vital role in India’s economy, contributing nearly 30% of the GDP and employing more than 110 million people. Strengthening their digital and financial foundations is crucial to maintaining economic momentum. Through Buzzing for Bharat, Easebuzz aims to promote innovation, inclusivity, and sustainable growth across this sector.
In the coming months, Easebuzz plans to expand the initiative with mentorship programmes, capacity-building sessions, and opportunities for global trade collaboration. These efforts will further bridge the gap between MSMEs and the digital economy.
