Samsung has set a new benchmark in India with the Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy Z Flip7, and Galaxy Z Flip7 FE receiving a staggering 210,000 pre-orders within 48 hours of launch on July 9. This record matches the performance of Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S25 series launched earlier this year, demonstrating the growing appeal of foldable smartphones in the country.

Foldables Enter the Mainstream
The Galaxy Z Fold7 is Samsung’s thinnest and lightest foldable yet at 215g, and only 4.2mm thick when unfolded. It combines powerful performance with a large immersive display, offering next-gen productivity on the go. The Fold7’s 8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display is 11% larger and boasts 2600 nits peak brightness.
The Galaxy Z Flip7 and Flip7 FE bring flagship-grade AI to a compact form. With its sleek 13.7mm folded design and edge-to-edge FlexWindow, the Flip7 is ideal for content creation and social media users. The Flip7 is powered by One UI 8 and Android 16, enabling multimodal AI including Google Gemini Live for real-time screen sharing and contextual requests.
Built to Last with New Materials
The Fold7 features an improved Armor FlexHinge, new Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 for the cover display, and a reinforced Titanium plate layer in the main display. The hinge is thinner and lighter, minimizing creases and enhancing durability.
Color options include Blue Shadow, Jet Black, and Silver Shadow for Fold7 and Coral Red, Jet Black, and Blue Shadow for Flip7. The Flip7 FE is available in Black and White, with an online-exclusive Mint option on Samsung.com.
