GREW Solar, one of India’s fastest growing solar PV manufacturers, has been named the Solar Energy Manufacturer of the Year 2025 at the Go Global Awards organised by the International Trade Council at the House of Lords in London. The recognition marks an important milestone for the young company and highlights its rapid progress and strong innovation in the global solar sector.
The award was presented by His Excellency Jonathan Marland and Baroness Sandip Verma in the presence of diplomats, senior officials, and representatives from seventy six countries.
Vinay Thadani, CEO and Director of GREW Solar, said that the recognition reflects the company’s consistent effort to build reliable solar solutions and expand its global presence. He added that the award is a reminder of the responsibility the company carries as it enters new markets and works to make clean energy accessible.
Dr Sachin Verma, Vice President of HR and Business Transformation at GREW Solar, said that the company focuses on creating a supportive environment for its teams. GREW Solar was founded in 2022 and has quickly become one of India’s youngest yet fastest expanding solar PV module manufacturers. Part of the Chiripal Group’s fifty two year manufacturing legacy, GREW Solar began its journey in 2022 with the launch of M10 modules up to 550 Wp and a 1.2 GW PV module plant in Dudu, Rajasthan. By 2025, the company expanded its operational capacity to 3.0 GW, producing high efficiency M10 TOPCon modules up to 590 Wp.
GREW Solar is now scaling its Dudu facility to 11.0 GW, developing one of India’s largest AI powered, integrated PV module plants with a state of the art R and D laboratory.
The company is also setting up a 3.0 GW solar PV cell plant in Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh, which will expand to 8.0 GW by late 2026.
