Strategic Moves in Q1

The VIDA electric mobility brand gained traction with a new Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, launched on 1 July 2025, alongside the EVOOTER VX2. A high-impact campaign, ‘Charging Simple Hai’, showcased VIDA’s removable battery tech during the IPL season.
Global and Premium Expansion
Global business outperformed industry trends. Hero launched four new products in Sri Lanka with Abans Auto: Xoom 110 scooter, Hunk 160R 4V, Xtreme 125R, and HF Deluxe motorcycles. The Harley-Davidson 2025 lineup reintroduced Street Bob and unveiled new Road Glide and Street Glide models. Hero opened its 100th Premia Store in Bangalore, with new outlets in Murshidabad, Nashik, and Muzaffarpur.
Operational Adjustments
A temporary production pause in April 2025 impacted dispatch volumes but has since normalised. Retail demand remained steady, reflected in higher VAHAN registrations. With the festive season approaching, Hero expects robust demand driven by new product launches.
Sports and Brand Initiatives
Hero partnered with golfers Akshay Bhatia and Sahith Theegala as global ambassadors for three years. The Hero MotoSports Team Rally added young talent Tobias Ebster to its international rider lineup, boosting its motorsport presence.
Leadership Insights
Vivek Anand, Chief Financial Officer, said, “Our profitability held strong, driven by demand for entry-level and deluxe motorcycles and 125cc scooters. VIDA’s electric mobility business is gaining momentum, and global operations outperformed industry trends. With positive customer sentiment and a strong product pipeline, we’re set for growth in the festive season.”
Looking Ahead
Hero MotoCorp’s focus on premium and electric segments, global expansion, and sustainable practices positions it for sustained growth. The festive season and new launches are expected to drive demand, reinforcing Hero’s leadership in the two-wheeler market.
