Online portal Housing.com has launched a new suite of advanced 3D, augmented reality (AR), and virtual reality (VR) tools, enhancing the property search experience for homebuyers. This follows the company’s initial introduction of these technologies a decade ago, solidifying its position as a leader in real estate technology.
Key innovations include DigiAR, which allows buyers to visualise property designs as 3D models over real land plots through WebAR. DigiTour, a VR solution, offers a fully immersive property walkthrough, providing an in-depth look at homes without the need to visit in person. These tools are designed to give buyers a more interactive and comprehensive view of potential properties.
In addition, the new 3D suite features DigiPlot, which provides detailed views of land plots, and Digislate, which offers agents up-to-date project information during client meetings. Digiport and Droneview enhance the experience further with interactive masterplans and aerial views. The Floorplan 3D tool, powered by AI and ChatGPT, transforms traditional blueprints into interactive 3D models, allowing users to explore properties in greater detail.
By reducing manual intervention and cutting costs by over 70%, these tools aim to make the home buying process quicker and more efficient. The suite also helps users better understand property layouts and local surroundings, leading to more informed decisions.
These innovations are part of Housing.com’s ongoing commitment to improving the real estate experience through cutting-edge technology.
