KSH INFRA is doubling down on Tamil Nadu’s industrial potential. The company has announced a ₹550 crore investment in a second Industrial & Logistics Park in the booming Sriperumbudur-Oragadam region, near Chennai. Spanning 60 acres, the new development promises 1.6 million square feet of premium industrial space and over 1,500 new job opportunities.
This strategic expansion comes on the heels of KSH INFRA’s previous ₹450 crore investment in a similar park in Hosur last year. With this move, the company strengthens its position in Tamil Nadu’s fast-growing logistics and manufacturing ecosystem.
Why Sriperumbudur?
The location isn’t just a dot on the map. It’s a rising industrial powerhouse. The upcoming park is positioned with nearly 600 metres of direct frontage on the Other District Road, enabling seamless movement of goods. Just as crucial is its proximity to the nearing-completion Chennai–Bangalore Expressway (NE7), which links to major ports and industrial nodes.
The Sriperumbudur-Oragadam belt already hosts top global and domestic names. Think Hyundai, Foxconn, Nokia, Flextronics, Dell, Samsung, CEAT, Apollo Tyres, and more. The corridor is now witnessing major infrastructure upgrades, including the Peripheral Ring Road, Parandur Greenfield Airport, MMLP at Mappedu, and the Aerospace Park. Together, they are turning the Chennai–Bangalore Industrial Corridor (CBIC) into a national growth engine.
Strategic Vision and Scaling Up
KSH INFRA’s Managing Director, Rohit Hegde, shared that this project is part of a larger vision to develop 10 million square feet of sustainable industrial infrastructure across India. With footprints now in Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Chennai, the firm is executing a well-mapped expansion plan. Construction for the new park is slated to begin by March–April 2026.
He stressed that the company’s goal is to support India’s manufacturing ambitions by creating future-ready logistics and industrial spaces that attract both local and global players. “We are committed to enabling ‘Make in India’ by generating employment and building long-term value,” Hegde said.
Focus on Sustainable Growth
CEO Sundaresan Vaidyanathan emphasised KSH INFRA’s deep in-house expertise across fundraising, land acquisition, design, and development. The firm works with top consultants to ensure compliance, sustainability, and resilience in its projects. Its parks are designed to serve the evolving needs of sectors like automotive, electronics, and precision engineering.
This new development in Sriperumbudur marks more than just a real estate investment—it signals the rising tide of industrial innovation in South India. With demand growing and infrastructure falling into place, the region is poised to become a prime manufacturing and logistics hub in the coming decade.
