Mumbai witnessed a historic moment as over 500 women came together to break a Guinness World Record for the “Most People Untying Their Hair Simultaneously.” Organised by L’Oréal Paris, the event marked the launch of the Hyaluron Pure Shampoo and Conditioner Range and reinforced the importance of scalp health and hair hydration.

The record-breaking attempt was part of the “Free Your Hair” campaign, designed to empower women to prioritise hair care without compromise. By collectively untying their hair, participants symbolised freedom, confidence, and self-expression, aligning with L’Oréal Paris’ vision of innovative and effective hair care solutions.
The Hyaluron Pure range addresses oily scalps and dry ends, a common concern among women aged 18 to 45. Formulated with Salicylic Acid and Hyaluronic Acid, it deeply cleanses excess oil while delivering 72 hours of hydration, leaving hair fresh, bouncy, and nourished.
Dario Zizzi, General Manager at L’Oréal Paris India, highlighted the significance of the campaign, stating, “The first step to hair health is addressing common scalp concerns like excess oil and dandruff. With Hyaluron Pure, we are redefining what it means to have hydrated, healthy hair. This Guinness World Record is a testament to the confidence our range brings to women everywhere.”
This milestone strengthens L’Oréal Paris’ legacy of innovation and empowerment. The “Free Your Hair” movement is more than a record—it is a bold expression of self-confidence, strength, and personal freedom, reaffirming the brand’s position as a leader in hair care innovation.
