The makers of the upcoming Prime Minister Narendra Modi biopic Maa Vande, starring Unni Mukundan in the lead role, have successfully completed the film’s first shooting schedule in Hyderabad. The update was shared by the production team through behind-the-scenes images from the sets, offering an early look at the scale and preparation behind the ambitious biographical drama.
The Hyderabad schedule began with a traditional pooja ceremony, marking an auspicious start to the project. During this phase, several key scenes were filmed across multiple locations in the city. The team described the schedule as productive and smooth, setting a strong foundation for the next phase of filming. With this milestone completed, the production is now preparing to move to Kashmir, where the next schedule is scheduled to begin soon.
The behind-the-scenes pictures also featured director Kranthi Kumar C.H. alongside lead actor Unni Mukundan, highlighting moments from the set and the collaborative spirit of the team. Titled Maa Vande, the film is a biographical drama inspired by the life journey of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The story aims to trace a narrative rooted in values, perseverance, and purpose, capturing key phases that shaped his personal and political path.
The project was officially announced on the Prime Minister’s birthday in September, creating strong interest among audiences and industry observers. The makers have stated that the film is being mounted on a grand scale with international production standards, focusing on high-quality visuals, strong performances, and detailed storytelling.
Maa Vande is produced by Veer Reddy M. and written and directed by Kranthi Kumar C.H. One of the film’s major strengths is its experienced technical team. The project brings together action director King Solomon, production designer Sabu Cyril, editor Sreekar Prasad, cinematographer K.K. Senthil Kumar, and music composer Ravi Basrur.
This powerhouse lineup is known for delivering some of Indian cinema’s biggest blockbusters and visually rich films. Their collective work includes projects such as Baahubali, Salaar, and KGF, which have set new benchmarks in production quality and cinematic scale. With such a team backing the project, the makers aim to present Maa Vande as a high-impact biographical film that combines emotional depth with large-scale storytelling.
As the production moves to Kashmir, expectations continue to grow around the film’s progress and final presentation.
