Manipal: Manipal Academy of Higher Education has entered into a strategic partnership with OpenAI to integrate advanced artificial intelligence tools across teaching, research, and academic administration. The collaboration marks a significant step in MAHE’s digital transformation journey and reflects its ambition to prepare students and faculty for an AI-driven future.
As an Institution of Eminence Deemed-to-be University, MAHE plans to deploy AI-powered solutions across its academic programmes to strengthen personalised learning, enhance critical thinking, and promote responsible use of emerging technologies. The initiative is designed to improve learning outcomes while also accelerating research productivity across disciplines.
Lt. Gen. Dr. M D Venkatesh, Vice Chancellor of MAHE, said the university has consistently prioritised academic excellence and innovation. The collaboration will focus on building AI literacy across all streams. Students from Health Sciences, Technology and Science, Management, Law, Humanities and Social Sciences, and allied fields will gain practical exposure to AI applications relevant to their domains. By introducing interdisciplinary AI learning, MAHE aims to equip graduates with skills that align with global workforce demands.
Faculty members will also benefit from access to advanced AI tools for curriculum design, academic planning, research development, and innovation.
