
The Manipal Entrepreneurship Summit (MES) 2025, organised by Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) and executed by E-Cell MIT, will take place from February 6 to 8, 2025. This year marks the eighth edition of the summit, which aims to foster innovation and collaboration among students. The theme, “Fuelling Future Founders,” reflects the event’s goal of empowering student entrepreneurs through mentorship, guidance, and a supportive startup ecosystem.
Key Events
The summit will feature notable speakers, including Dr. Arokiaswamy Velumani, founder of Thyrocare. He will inaugurate the event and deliver the keynote address on February 6. On the same day, Ashneer Grover, co-founder of BharatPe, will participate in a fireside chat with students and entrepreneurs.
The Innovation Mela will showcase over 120 startups, patents, and research projects. It will offer a platform for networking and investments from top venture capital firms like Leo Capital and Z3Partners.
MES 2025 will also feature several panel discussions, covering key areas such as DeepTech, HealthTech, Family Businesses, and InfoTech. Additionally, participants can join national-level competitions like Pitch Tank, Case Maze, and Reroute & Resurge, which have a prize pool of ₹4 lakh.

Dr. H. S. Ballal, Pro-Chancellor of MAHE, said the summit will continue to inspire students to become impactful entrepreneurs. Lt. Gen. (Dr.) M. D. Venkatesh, Vice Chancellor of MAHE, stressed the importance of nurturing innovation. Cdr. Dr. Anil Rana, Director of MIT, called MES 2025 a transformative platform for students to turn ideas into ventures and create job opportunities.
