On 14 November 2025, Union Health Secretary Punya Salila Srivastava inaugurated the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare’s (MoHFW) Health Pavilion at the 44th India International Trade Fair (IITF), held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. She was joined by Dr. Sunita Sharma, Director‑General of Health Services, Shri Saurabh Jain, Joint Secretary, and other senior MoHFW officials. The pavilion, covering approximately 900 sqm in Hall 4, is themed “स्वस्थ भारत, श्रेष्ठ भारत” (Healthy India, Better India), reflecting the Ministry’s commitment to integrated healthcare and national wellness.
The pavilion highlights several flagship health initiatives, including the Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan, which aims to reach 11 crore people across the country. Other major programmes on display include the Tobacco Control for Youth initiative, the TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, and India’s national organ donation campaign. In addition to being an exhibition space, the pavilion offers visitors practical health services such as CPR awareness sessions and anaemia testing, turning it into an interactive platform for public engagement.
Secretary Srivastava encouraged visitors to explore the pavilion and utilise these services, noting that the exhibits provide insight into India’s expansive health system and the government’s ongoing initiatives. The pavilion features 37 stalls, each dedicated to specific areas of health, ranging from digital health programmes like eSanjeevani and the ABDM digital mission, to family planning, adolescent and maternal care, non-communicable disease prevention, mental health through TeleMANAS, blood transfusion services, vector-borne disease control, and immunisation efforts. The exhibition also celebrates three Guinness World Records achieved under the Swasth Nari campaign, showcasing India’s leadership in preventive, women-centred healthcare.
With its mix of informative exhibits, on-ground services, and public interaction, the MoHFW Health Pavilion at IITF 2025 provides a comprehensive view of India’s healthcare initiatives while promoting the government’s vision of a healthier, stronger nation.
