Meanwhile, Mardaani 3 has generated massive online attention and has quickly become one of the most discussed upcoming releases. The third instalment of the popular franchise once again focuses on socially relevant themes. This time, the story centres on the disturbing issue of young girls from economically weaker backgrounds being targeted in organised crimes.
Directed by Abhiraj Minawala and produced by Aditya Chopra, the film continues the franchise’s tradition of hard-hitting storytelling. While the first Mardaani highlighted human trafficking and Mardaani 2 explored the psychology of a serial offender, the latest chapter aims to expose another harsh reality of society.
Mardaani 3 is scheduled to release in theatres on 30 January 2026.
