The much-discussed Marathi film Kadhipatta will release across Maharashtra on 7 November. After weeks of speculation, the makers have confirmed that Riddhi Kumar will star opposite Bhushan Patil in this romantic drama.
Presented by Yuvan Productions, the film is produced by Swapnil Yuvraj Marathe and directed by Vishwa. Both the producer and the director are making their first entry into cinema with this project. The first poster created a stir by hiding the heroine’s face and left fans curious. Now, with the second poster, the lead pair has been revealed.
Riddhi Kumar, known for her work in South Indian films and web series, is making her Marathi debut with Kadhipatta. She will also appear in The Raja Saab alongside Prabhas and has previously acted in Radhe Shyam. She said that her character in this film is a strong and independent young woman, reflecting the modern generation. She believes that the story will connect deeply with viewers and credited the team for shaping it into a promising project.
The film also features Sanjay Mone, Shubhangi Gokhale, Akshay Tanksale, Gargi Phule, Gauri Sukhatankar, Sanika Kashikar, and Nisha Mane. Guest appearances include Anand Ingale, Ananda Karekar, and Chetna Bhatt. The music is composed by Padmanabh Gaikwad and Ashish Khandal, with songs written by Mandar Cholkar, Mukund Bhalerao, and Vinu Sangwan. Singers include Rohit Raut, Padmanabh Gaikwad, Ananya Wadkar, Saaj Bhatt, and Priyanshi Srivastava. Cinematography is by Aniket Khandagale, and distribution will be managed by Cinepolis.
