The playful rivalry between a Sarpanch and a Deputy Sarpanch is set to entertain audiences in the upcoming Marathi film Salbardi. Veteran actor Shashank Shende and popular comedian Onkar Bhojane bring the dynamic to life as Sarpanch Ganpat Patil and Deputy Sarpanch Mukinda Thorat, respectively.
Set against a rural backdrop in Maharashtra, Salbardi explores the humorous and intriguing side of village politics. Speaking about his role, Shashank Shende said, “The story of Salbardi is mysterious. It also reflects local-level politics and the relationships between people in the village.
