Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has recently rented two luxurious duplex apartments in Mumbai from film producer Vashu Bhagnani. The three year lease is valued at approximately ₹8.67 crore, equating to an annual rent of around ₹2.89 crore. These apartments, located in the upscale Bandra area, are intended to serve as a personal residence for Khan and his family.
In a related development, Khan’s sea-facing apartment in the Shree Amrit CHSL building on Carter Road is slated for redevelopment. Constructed in the 1980s, the building occupies a plot of over 4,000 square meters. The society members are currently in discussions with various real estate developers to modernise the property. Residents anticipate receiving up to double their current living space post redevelopment. Market sources indicate that the per square foot rate for sea facing apartments on Carter Road ranges from ₹1 lakh to ₹1.3 lakh.
