Turkish Airlines has inaugurated its largest international lounge outside Istanbul at Narita International Airport, marking a significant milestone in its global expansion. The new lounge, located in Terminal 1 South Wing, Satellite 4, Gate 47, spans 800 m² in its first phase and will expand to 1,500 m² in the second phase.
The lounge is open daily from 7:30 AM to 9:45 PM, catering to Miles&Smiles Elite Plus, Elite, and Corporate cardholders, as well as Star Alliance Gold members and Business Class passengers on Star Alliance flights.

Designed with a blend of Turkish hospitality and Japanese elegance, the lounge offers a variety of amenities. These include a buffet featuring Turkish, Japanese, and Far Eastern dishes, along with the only Turkish pide oven outside Istanbul, daybeds with apron views, a VIP room, and practical facilities such as shower rooms and a baby care room.
In addition to comfort, the lounge prioritises connectivity with free Wi-Fi, flight information screens, and dedicated workspaces. The design incorporates Turkish marbling art and references to iconic landmarks, including Mount Fuji at the entrance.
This lounge is Turkish Airlines’ seventh overseas lounge, joining locations in Nairobi, Moscow, Miami, Washington, Bangkok, and New York, reinforcing the airline’s commitment to world-class service and a seamless travel experience across its extensive global network.
