Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust, Varanasi, has issued special guidelines for Mahakumbh 2025, expecting a massive influx of devotees. To manage the crowd and ensure smooth darshan, several key arrangements have been made. From January 12 to February 28, 2025, Sparsh Darshan will remain suspended. Devotees can still have darshan from all four doors of the sanctum, but touching the idol will not be allowed.
Only Mangala Aarti tickets will be available, while no tickets will be issued for other Aartis during this period. Special request darshan will also see changes—requests will not be accepted from morning till 2:00 PM, and they will only be considered between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM. However, even under special requests, Sparsh Darshan will not be permitted.
The temple trust urges devotees to cooperate and follow the guidelines to ensure a peaceful and well-organized Mahakumbh 2025. These measures aim to enhance the spiritual experience while maintaining order in the temple premises.
