Google has unveiled ‘Ananta’, one of its largest global offices, in Bengaluru, India. The name ‘Ananta’, meaning ‘infinite’ in Sanskrit, reflects the boundless potential Google envisions in technological advancements.

Strategically located in Bengaluru, a rapidly growing tech hub, Ananta is a purpose built campus featuring one of India’s largest installations of electro-chromic glass and a distinctive fluidic facade. The design promotes natural light and offers panoramic city views.
The interior is organised like a city grid, with interconnected ‘neighbourhoods’ fostering collaboration and innovation. At its centre lies ‘Sabha’, a vast amphitheatre-style gathering space designed for community interactions and events.
Accessibility is a cornerstone of Ananta’s design, featuring tactile flooring for the visually impaired and various accessible amenities. The campus also boasts extensive green spaces, including walking and jogging paths inspired by Bengaluru’s ‘Garden City’ moniker.
In line with environmental sustainability, Ananta recycles 100% of its wastewater, harvests rainwater on-site, and utilises smart glass technology to reduce energy consumption. The interiors are crafted with locally sourced materials, underscoring Google’s commitment to responsible operations.
This development signifies Google’s ongoing investment in India’s digital transformation, aiming to foster innovation and collaboration within the region.
