From Seedhe Maut’s live performance to horror cosplay, family activities and film screenings, HorrorCon India returns to New Delhi on October 31 and November 1.

Halloween is becoming a bigger occasion for music, costumes and pop culture enthusiasts in India. Adding to the celebrations, HorrorCon India 2026 will return to New Delhi for its third edition, bringing together horror fans, music lovers, gamers, creators and families for a two-day festival.

Organised by TMV (The Mad Virus) and Khooni Monday, the event will take place on October 31 and November 1 at NSIC Grounds in Okhla, New Delhi. The organisers expect more than 30,000 attendees across the festival.

Music, horror and live entertainment

Music will be a major attraction this year, with hip-hop duo Seedhe Maut headlining the performances. The lineup also includes girl pop band W.i.S.H., singer-songwriter Bharat Chauhan and performers Ansh4Sure, Whysokai and Parv, known for their association with MTV Hustle. Electronic music DJs NKSHTRA and NOIZX will add to the festival atmosphere.

Beyond the music, the event will feature horror storytelling, themed photo opportunities, food stalls and pop-up shopping experiences. The programme aims to bring different interests together under one roof, combining entertainment with the creativity of India’s growing cosplay and horror communities.

Cosplay, gaming and horror films

Costumes and character-inspired performances will be central to the festival. According to the organisers, the event will feature a large Halloween parade and a horror cosplay competition, where participants can showcase their creativity through horror-inspired characters and costumes.

A family cosplay showdown is another addition to this year’s programme. Visitors can also explore a dedicated gaming arena, a horror-themed geek zone and a Trick or Treat zone.

The festival will host a horror film programme featuring screenings of Indian and international films. These attractions are intended to give visitors different ways to experience the genre, whether through cinema, gaming, costumes or live performances.

A halloween experience for children and families

HorrorCon is also expanding its family-friendly offerings through HallowVille, a dedicated space designed to introduce children to Halloween through playful activities rather than frightening experiences.

The planned attractions include Monster Academy, bouncy activities, children’s gaming areas, magic and puppet shows, family cosplay competitions and a Monster Rave. The organisers aim to create an environment where younger visitors can participate alongside adults.

Building a community around horror

HorrorCon is an extension of the audience built by Khooni Monday, a horror and thriller community that connects with fans through digital content. Its organisers say the festival is part of a wider effort to bring online fandom into real-world experiences.

The event is expected to feature more than 500 creators and influencers, along with appearances by filmmakers, producers and celebrities. Previous editions have included mentalists Suhani Shah and Karan Singh Magic, filmmaker Aditya Sarpotdar and digital creators such as GamerFleet and Raj Grover.

TMV founders Divay Agarwal and Raman Bhalla said the festival was created to give horror enthusiasts a shared space to celebrate storytelling, music and creativity as interest in Halloween grows in India.
