Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) hosted its first online convocation on 8th February. The event celebrated 426 students who completed postgraduate programmes through a fully online learning experience. These graduates included those from MBA, MSc in Business Analytics, MSc in Data Science, PGCP in Business Analytics, and PGCP in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

Students from 22 countries attended virtually. Graduates from South Sudan, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Uganda were present in person. This milestone highlights MAHE’s global reach. Under the e-Vidya Bharati Pan-African Scholarship Project, 204 African graduates received their degrees.
The University Grants Commission (UGC) guidelines confirm that online degrees are equivalent to conventional ones. MAHE’s online graduates qualify for job opportunities and further education.
