Special Guests to Meet Union Minister Shri Pralhad Joshi

The Union Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) is set to host 800 special guests at this year’s Republic Day Parade on 26th January. This initiative celebrates the achievements of individuals and groups who have contributed significantly to India’s transition to renewable energy under the Ministry’s flagship schemes.
The invitees include beneficiaries of the PM Surya Ghar Yojana, renewable energy workers, and participants in the PM KUSUM Scheme. Their presence highlights the Ministry’s commitment to empowering citizens and promoting sustainable energy solutions across the country.
During their visit, the special guests will meet Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy, Shri Pralhad Joshi, MNRE Secretary Ms. Nidhi Khare, and other senior officials. The Ministry has also organised tours for the guests to the PM Sangrahalaya and the National War Memorial.
Each of the invitees represents a story of empowerment and development made possible through MNRE’s renewable energy initiatives. To ensure their experience is memorable, the Ministry has arranged accommodations and logistical support for their stay in New Delhi.
Through this gesture, MNRE reaffirms its dedication to recognising the contributions of citizens who are integral to India’s journey towards a cleaner and more sustainable future.
