LIBF Expo 2026, a multi-sector international trade and business networking platform, concluded in Mumbai after drawing more than 35,000 visitors over three days, underlining India’s growing prominence in cross-border trade and global business engagement.
Held at the Jio World Convention Centre, the Expo brought together business leaders, investors, policymakers, and institutional representatives from more than 25 countries. The event featured 18 global conventions, participation from over 30 industries, and 246 exhibitors spanning sectors such as financial services, healthcare, legal services, logistics, manufacturing, infrastructure, and emerging technologies.
Organisers described LIBF Expo 2026 as a structured platform designed to connect Indian enterprises with international markets across the Gulf region, Africa, Europe, the United Kingdom, North America, and Asia-Pacific. More than 10,000 curated business and professional participants attended sector-specific conferences, roundtables, and trade-focused sessions.
Discussions during the Expo centred on cross-border expansion strategies, supply chain diversification, regulatory compliance, and access to capital in both emerging and developed economies. Industry participants noted a rising global interest in India not only as a manufacturing destination but also as a growing hub for services exports and outbound expansion by small and mid-sized enterprises.
Several national industry and governance-linked institutions took part in the event, including the IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Institute of Directors, and the National Skill Development Corporation, adding institutional depth to the platform.
Focus on Education and Community Impact
Alongside business and trade engagement, LIBF Expo 2026 incorporated a range of social responsibility and community initiatives. These included complimentary exhibition spaces for women-led Gruh Udyog enterprises, education and training institutions, and community-focused organisations. The platform also facilitated UAE-focused business advisory services and overseas expansion support, while recognising individuals and organisations through international awards.
A key education initiative announced during the Expo aims to support capacity-building programmes across 100 Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation municipal schools, reflecting the organisers’ emphasis on inclusive growth alongside commercial engagement.
