Kunwar Amar is set to make a compelling comeback with the web series Dil Dhokha aur Desire, streaming exclusively on ShemarooMe from 12th February 2026. Known for his exceptional dancing and performance skills, Amar now steps into a role that explores intense emotional conflict, ambition, and moral dilemmas.
In the series, Amar plays Shaurya, a young man driven by big dreams yet constrained by circumstances and limited choices. Shaurya’s journey is rooted in realism, portraying a man torn between his ideals and the situations that force him to compromise. The character embodies the struggles of emotional vulnerability, the consequences of impulsive decisions, and the complexity of human morality.
Kunwar Amar shares his excitement about the role: “What drew me to Shaurya was his unpredictability. He is neither entirely right nor wrong, and that moral grey makes him real. Shaurya is a boxer from a very ordinary background, with extraordinarily big dreams, but life doesn’t hand him easy choices. Circumstances trap him in situations he never wants to be in. He thinks with his heart before his brain and often battles his own decisions. This inner conflict is the soul of the character. Boxing has been a part of my fitness journey, and this role allowed me to bring authenticity and a physical edge to the performance, beyond my dancing.”
The series also features Akanksha Chamola and Ali Hasan in significant roles, adding depth and dimension to the narrative. Set against a backdrop of complex relationships and hidden agendas, Dil Dhokha aur Desire explores the emotional cost of love, trust, and betrayal. Shaurya’s character becomes a key driving force, heightening tension and intrigue throughout the story.
Audiences can expect a narrative filled with moral dilemmas, unexpected twists, and evolving dynamics, all portrayed with raw vulnerability and subtle strength. Kunwar Amar’s collaboration with ShemarooMe promises a fresh and authentic exploration of emotional depth, making this web series a must-watch.
Prepare to witness Kunwar Amar in a role that showcases a new facet of his talent when Dil Dhokha aur Desire premieres on 12th February 2026, streaming exclusively on ShemarooMe.
