Amir Chand Jagdish Kumar (Exports) Limited, the company behind the well-known Aeroplane brand, is set to enter the capital market with its much-awaited Initial Public Offering (IPO). The IPO will open for public subscription on March 24, 2026, and close on March 27, 2026, while anchor investor bidding is scheduled for March 23, 2026. According to reported details, the company has fixed a price band of ₹201 to ₹212 per equity share for the issue.
The IPO is worth ₹4,400 million, or around ₹440 crore, and consists entirely of a fresh issue, with no offer for sale component. This means the funds raised will go directly to the company and are expected to support its future business needs, particularly working capital requirements and broader corporate expansion plans. The minimum application size for investors has been set at 70 shares.
Known for its strong position in the basmati rice segment, Amir Chand Jagdish Kumar (Exports) Limited has built a notable identity in both domestic and international markets through its Aeroplane brand. The company is primarily recognised as a processor and exporter of basmati rice in India and has steadily expanded its reach in the FMCG space.
One of the company’s biggest strengths is its fully integrated business model. Its operations cover the entire value chain, from procurement and processing to branding and marketing. This gives the company stronger control over quality, supply, and distribution. Along with basmati rice, the Aeroplane brand has also expanded into other everyday kitchen staples such as wheat flour, maida, semolina, gram flour, salt, and sugar.
The company also has a sizeable brand portfolio, with nearly 100 trademarks, which adds to its visibility and market strength. The issue proceeds are expected to help scale operations further as it looks to deepen its market presence and support future growth.
With a recognised brand name, a diversified FMCG basket, and a planned push for expansion, this IPO marks an important step for Amir Chand Jagdish Kumar (Exports) Limited. As the Aeroplane brand prepares for its market debut, investors will be watching closely to see whether this long-established basmati player can convert its consumer trust into a strong capital market story.
