Marriott Bonvoy has expanded its partnership with the International Cricket Council ahead of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, bringing cricket fans closer to the action through exclusive travel and hospitality experiences across England.
The global travel platform, owned by Marriott International, will continue as the ICC’s Official Accommodation Partner and will now extend its involvement to the women’s tournament scheduled to take place in June and July 2026. Matches will be hosted across major English cities including London, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Bristol and Southampton.
The expanded partnership follows the success of Marriott Bonvoy’s association with the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup earlier this year. Through the collaboration, the company aims to combine sports, travel and fan engagement by offering members unique experiences connected to the tournament.
More than 150 Marriott Bonvoy Moments will be available to members worldwide. Fans can redeem or bid using their Marriott Bonvoy points for exclusive matchday tickets, hospitality access, pre-match experiences and special training sessions featuring cricket legends. One of the most popular initiatives, Anthem Kids, will also return for the women’s tournament. The programme gives children the opportunity to walk onto the field alongside leading international cricketers before matches begin.
John Toomey said the response to the ICC partnership has been highly encouraging and has helped deepen fan engagement with the sport. He added that the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 presents another major opportunity to create memorable experiences for travelling fans and families while celebrating the growing popularity of women’s cricket globally.
The ICC also highlighted the significance of the partnership as women’s cricket enters a major growth phase worldwide. Sanjog Gupta said the collaboration will help create more immersive and meaningful fan experiences while supporting the continued rise of women’s cricket on the global stage.
According to the ICC, the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 generated more than five billion video views worldwide, a sharp increase from previous editions. Social media engagement also crossed 279 million interactions, while television audiences reached record levels with 185 million viewers tuning in for the final. The 2026 edition will also become the first Women’s T20 World Cup to feature 12 participating nations competing for the tournament’s biggest prize pool to date.
For travelling supporters, Marriott Bonvoy has also highlighted its hotel network near major cricket venues. Properties such as London Marriott Hotel County Hall, Leeds Marriott Hotel, Manchester Marriott Victoria & Albert Hotel and Bristol Marriott Royal Hotel will serve as convenient accommodation options for fans attending matches throughout the tournament.
Beyond the World Cup itself, Marriott Bonvoy’s hotel portfolio will continue supporting ICC events and conferences during the year, including the ICC Development Awards in Edinburgh.
The partnership reflects a growing trend where sports organisations and hospitality brands work together to create more personalised and experience-driven engagement for global audiences. With women’s cricket attracting larger audiences and wider international attention, the collaboration between Marriott Bonvoy and the ICC is expected to further strengthen fan connections with the game.
