First Day Performance
When we look at its occupancy, Fateh recorded an overall attendance of 29.14% across theatres. The audience numbers varied depending on the time of day: a mere 10.60% in the morning shows, a slightly better 20.50% in the afternoon, 28.53% in the evening, and finally, a much stronger 56.93% in the night shows.
To put things into perspective, trade analysts had initially expected the movie to make between ₹70 lakh and ₹1 crore on its first day, but it far exceeded these expectations, though still not achieving a runaway success.
Facing Tough Competition
It’s worth mentioning that Fateh faced stiff competition from other major films at the box office. For instance, Game Changer, which stars Ram Charan, made an impressive ₹51.25 crore on its opening day, leaving Fateh struggling to keep up. Moreover, Pushpa 2, which has been running successfully for weeks, has also created a tough atmosphere for new releases like this one.
Made on a ₹15 crore budget, the film promises action, drama, and suspense, with a gripping narrative about betrayal, loyalty, and survival. The rest of the cast includes talented actors such as Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Shivjyoti Rajput, Binnu Dhillon, Insane Ashraf, Vijayant Kohli, and Akashdeep Sabir, adding depth to the storyline.
What’s Next for Fateh?
While Fateh didn’t create the kind of buzz that many expected on its first day, it’s still early days.
