Indo MIM Limited, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of Metal Injection Moulding (MIM) components, is set to launch its much-awaited Initial Public Offering (IPO) on July 23, 2026. The public issue, valued at ₹3,812 crore, will remain open for subscription until July 27, offering investors an opportunity to participate in one of India’s leading precision engineering companies.
The Bengaluru-headquartered company has fixed the IPO price band at ₹461 to ₹485 per equity share. At the upper end of the price band, Indo MIM commands a valuation of nearly ₹24,000 crore, making it one of the significant public offerings in the engineering and manufacturing sector this year.
The IPO consists of two components—a fresh issue of equity shares worth ₹500 crore and an Offer for Sale (OFS) of 6.82 crore equity shares by existing shareholders. While the fresh issue will raise new capital for the company, the OFS will allow current shareholders to partially monetise their investments.
According to the company, around ₹400 crore from the fresh issue proceeds will be utilised to prepay or repay certain outstanding borrowings. Reducing debt is expected to strengthen Indo MIM’s balance sheet and improve its financial flexibility. The remaining funds will be used for general corporate purposes, including supporting future business requirements.
Founded in 1996, Indo MIM has grown into a global leader in precision engineering by specialising in Metal Injection Moulding technology. MIM combines the design flexibility of plastic injection moulding with the strength and durability of metal, enabling manufacturers to produce complex, high-precision components at scale. The technology is increasingly used in industries that demand lightweight, durable and intricately designed metal parts.
Over nearly three decades, the company has built a diversified manufacturing network comprising 15 production facilities located across India, the United States, the United Kingdom and Mexico. This global footprint allows Indo MIM to serve customers in several international markets while maintaining efficient production and supply chain capabilities.
Today, the company manufactures more than 9,000 product variants that cater to a wide range of industries. Its customer base spans automotive, defence, aerospace, medical devices, consumer products and industrial engineering sectors. The diversity of its product portfolio has helped the company reduce dependence on any single industry while creating multiple avenues for long-term growth.
Indo MIM has also demonstrated strong financial performance in recent years. For the financial year 2025-26, the company reported operating revenue of ₹4,193 crore, while net profit stood at ₹533 crore. The healthy earnings reflect the company’s operational efficiency, expanding global demand and its leadership in the Metal Injection Moulding segment.
Industry analysts believe the increasing adoption of precision engineering components in electric vehicles, defence manufacturing, healthcare equipment and aerospace applications is likely to support sustained demand for MIM technology. As manufacturers increasingly seek lightweight, high-performance and cost-efficient components, companies like Indo MIM are well-positioned to benefit from this long-term trend.
Following the completion of the IPO process, Indo MIM’s equity shares are proposed to be listed on both the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE). Investors and market participants will closely monitor subscription levels during the three-day bidding window, as the issue is expected to attract strong interest from institutional and retail investors alike.
With its global manufacturing footprint, advanced engineering capabilities and diversified customer base, Indo MIM enters the public market as one of India’s most prominent precision engineering companies, aiming to strengthen its financial position while continuing its international growth journey.
