Kia India has secured the prestigious ‘Great Place to Work’ certification for February 2025 to February 2026. The recognition highlights Kia’s commitment to a trust-based, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture.
The certification process, led by the Great Place to Work® institute, evaluated workplace culture across five critical dimensions: Credibility, Respect, Fairness, Pride, and Camaraderie. Kia India excelled in all areas, showcasing its focus on employee engagement, well-being, and excellence.
Over 92% of Kia India’s employees, from corporate, regional, and plant offices, participated in the evaluation. The certification reflects the company’s employee-friendly policies, which emphasise professional growth and development.
Kia India’s Managing Director and CEO, Gwanggu Lee, expressed pride in the recognition, stating, “This certification is a testament to our commitment to fostering a customer-centric, people-focused, and collaborative ‘One Team’ culture. We remain dedicated to listening to our people, learning from their insights, and investing in their growth.”
Kia India, a leading mass-premium carmaker, began its journey in 2017 by signing an MOU with Andhra Pradesh to set up a manufacturing facility in Anantapur. Mass production began in August 2019, with an annual capacity of 300,000 units. Since then, Kia has launched five models in India: the Seltos, Carnival, Sonet, Carens, and EV6.
The brand’s Anantapur facility has dispatched nearly 1.6 million vehicles, including over 1.2 million domestic sales and 3.67 lakh exports. Kia India also boasts over 4.5 lakh connected cars on Indian roads, solidifying its leadership in the connected car segment.
With 700 touchpoints across 300 cities, Kia India continues to expand its footprint, offering customers innovative products and exceptional experiences under its ‘Movement that Inspires’ brand identity.
