XECH Technologies has expanded its range of home appliances with the launch of the Imperia Garment Steamer at Guj Gift Expo 2026 in Ahmedabad. The new appliance is designed to make garment care easier through intelligent steam control, multiple fabric settings and a modern user-friendly design.

The launch is significant as Ahmedabad is one of India’s leading textile and garment manufacturing hubs. With Gujarat playing a major role in the country’s textile and denim industry, XECH has chosen the city to introduce a product aimed at consumers looking for a smarter and more convenient way to care for their clothes.

The Imperia Garment Steamer features the company’s Variable Steam Throw (VST) Technology, which allows users to adjust the amount of steam according to the type of fabric being steamed. Steam output can be controlled between 18 grams and 30 grams per minute, helping users handle everything from delicate fabrics to heavier garments with greater precision.

The appliance supports both vertical and horizontal steaming, giving users flexibility while removing wrinkles from hanging clothes or garments placed on a flat surface. It is powered by an 1800–2140W heating system, designed to deliver quick heating and consistent steam performance for daily use.

One of the key highlights of the product is its six preset fabric modes. These settings are displayed on a colourful LCD screen, allowing users to select the appropriate mode for different materials without having to manually adjust steam levels. The company says this feature helps reduce guesswork while improving garment care.

Commenting on the launch, Pranay Punjabi, Founder and CEO of XECH Technologies, said Ahmedabad was a natural choice for introducing the product because of its deep connection with India’s textile industry. He added that the company wanted to reimagine an everyday household appliance by combining intelligent fabric settings, controlled steam output and strong performance in a stylish design.

“The goal behind Imperia was to make garment care simpler, smarter and more practical for modern households. It reflects our approach of combining technology with thoughtful design to improve everyday experiences,” he said.

XECH has also announced that pre-bookings for the Imperia Garment Steamer opened on August 12, 2026, immediately after its unveiling at the exhibition. The product will be available for purchase from September 1, 2026, through the official XECH website, retail partners and leading e-commerce platforms.

The garment steamer is priced at an MRP of ₹2,799 and comes with a measuring cup and a user manual.

With the launch of Imperia, XECH continues to strengthen its portfolio of design-focused lifestyle and home appliances. The company says it remains focused on developing products that combine innovative technology with practical everyday functionality, offering consumers solutions that are both efficient and easy to use.

Headquartered in Mumbai, XECH Technologies develops consumer electronics and portable home appliances with a focus on user-centric design and future-ready innovation. The company aims to create products that enhance convenience while blending seamlessly into modern lifestyles.
