New Delhi | August 24, 2026: The Shri Aggarwal Digambar Jain Panchayat, Najafgarh, felicitated Dr Ashar Agarwal, Chief Business Officer at Dr Agarwals Eye Hospital. The felicitation took place at the hospital’s newly opened Najafgarh facility.

Speaking at the event, Dr Ashar Agarwal, Chief Business Officer, Dr Agarwals Eye Hospital, expressed his gratitude to the Agarwal Mahasabha, Najafgarh.

Dr Ashar Agarwal’s Medical Career
Dr Ashar Agarwal is a distinguished vitreoretinal surgeon with more than 20,000 surgeries to his credit. He also performed India’s first imported macular buckle surgery.
His academic record includes an M.S. in Ophthalmology with a Gold Medal. He later undertook an observership at the Moran Eye Center in the United States.
He also holds a Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow (FRCS). His clinical expertise covers complex vitreoretinal procedures, cataract surgery and Glued IOL surgery.
Alongside his clinical work, Dr Ashar Agarwal remains involved in academics and research.
Expanding Across India
Dr Agarwals Eye Hospital continues to expand its presence across the country. The group now operates more than 305 facilities across over 80 cities.
