Television actor Arjun Bijlani has expressed his views on the ongoing NEET protest, saying that students’ concerns deserve to be addressed with sincerity, transparency and open communication. According to the actor, the issue goes beyond an examination and is closely linked to the trust that millions of students and their families place in India’s education system.
Sharing his thoughts, Arjun said that whenever a large number of students come forward to raise concerns, it becomes important to listen to them seriously. He believes that even the possibility of irregularities in a high-stakes examination like NEET can create anxiety and uncertainty for candidates who have spent years preparing for it.
“If so many students have come forward to raise their voices, it is important that they are heard. Whenever there is even a possibility of something going wrong in such an important examination, it naturally creates anxiety and uncertainty among students and their families. The focus should now be on finding the truth and ensuring complete transparency,” Arjun said.
The actor also highlighted the years of dedication and sacrifice that students invest while preparing for one of the country’s most competitive medical entrance examinations. According to him, every candidate deserves confidence that the examination process is fair and that their hard work will be evaluated without any doubt or uncertainty.
“Preparing for an examination like NEET takes years of dedication, sacrifice and hard work. Students deserve to feel confident that their efforts will be judged fairly. No one should have to question whether their future has been affected because of circumstances beyond their control,” he added.
Arjun further stressed that situations involving students should always be handled through constructive dialogue rather than confusion or uncertainty. In his view, honest communication and timely action are essential to restoring confidence among students who are worried about their future.
“The best way forward is through honest communication and timely action. Whatever decision is taken should be one that restores trust and gives students confidence in the system. They need assurance that their hard work truly matters,” he said.
Speaking about the broader significance of the issue, Arjun pointed out that today’s students will eventually become the country’s doctors, scientists and professionals. He believes that maintaining their faith in the education system is important not only for their individual futures but also for the nation’s long-term progress.
“These students will become doctors, scientists and professionals who will shape our country’s future. Protecting their faith in the education system is not just important for them, it is important for all of us. I only hope that a fair solution is reached and that every deserving student feels justice has been done,” he said.
The actor’s remarks come at a time when the NEET examination continues to generate widespread discussion. While the authorities are addressing the concerns raised by students, Arjun Bijlani believes that transparency, fairness and open communication remain essential to rebuilding confidence in the examination process and ensuring that deserving students receive justice.
