Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Maddock Films, ‘Chhaava’ delves into the life of Maratha king Chatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, portrayed by Kaushal. The actor underwent a remarkable physical transformation for the role, gaining 25 kilograms to authentically represent the legendary ruler’s strength and stature. Kaushal shared that his wife, Katrina Kaif, was taken aback by his new look, humorously asking, “Ye kahan gaya?” upon seeing his transformation.
