Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced a major leadership move as it accelerates its growth strategy in India and Southwest Asia. The company has appointed Vikas Chawla as President for the region, a newly created role that reflects Hyatt’s long-term commitment to expanding its footprint in one of its most promising markets.
Effective April 1, 2026, Chawla will lead Hyatt’s overall business operations, strategy, and performance across India and Southwest Asia.
