Dairy products manufacturer Milky Mist Dairy Food Limited has announced the launch of its Initial Public Offering (IPO), with the public issue set to open for subscription on August 11, 2026, and close on August 13, 2026. The bidding process for anchor investors will begin a day earlier on August 10.

The company has fixed the price band at ₹133 to ₹140 per equity share, with a face value of ₹2 per share. Through the IPO, Milky Mist aims to raise capital to support its future growth plans and strengthen its presence in India’s fast-growing dairy and food sector.

The IPO is expected to attract attention from investors looking to participate in the expanding packaged dairy market, where demand for value-added dairy products has continued to grow across the country.

Fresh issue worth ₹1,428 crore

The public issue comprises a fresh issue of equity shares worth up to ₹1,428 crore and an Offer for Sale (OFS) of up to ₹125 crore by existing shareholders. Investors can apply for a minimum of 107 equity shares, with additional bids to be placed in multiples of 107 shares thereafter.

The company has also announced a special benefit for its employees. Eligible employees applying under the employee reservation portion will receive a discount of ₹13 per equity share, providing them an opportunity to participate in the company’s public offering at a lower price.

According to the company, the funds raised through the fresh issue will play a key role in supporting its long-term business strategy. The capital will be used to accelerate expansion plans, strengthen operations and support future growth initiatives as the company looks to further expand its footprint in the dairy products segment.

Shares to list on BSE and NSE

Following the completion of the IPO process, Milky Mist’s equity shares are proposed to be listed on both the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE), with the NSE designated as the stock exchange for the issue.

The IPO is being launched through the book-building process, under which at least 35% of the net offer has been reserved for retail individual investors. This reservation is aimed at encouraging broader participation from retail investors in the public issue.

The company stated that the IPO proceeds will contribute significantly towards its future growth plans and help expand its business operations. With India’s organised dairy sector witnessing steady growth and increasing consumer demand for packaged dairy products, Milky Mist is looking to strengthen its market position through continued investments and expansion.

The public issue is being managed by JM Financial, Axis Capital and IIFL Capital Services, which have been appointed as the Book Running Lead Managers to the IPO.

As investor interest in consumer and food sector companies continues to remain strong, Milky Mist’s public offering is expected to be closely watched by market participants. The IPO represents another significant listing in India’s primary market and is expected to support the company’s next phase of growth.
