Located along the historic Grand Trunk Road in Karnal, the 176-room property marks the brand’s debut in the country and becomes the 19th brand under the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio in India.
Designed as a modern-day palace, Noormahal blends India’s regal past with contemporary hospitality. The property stands out with its grand domes, intricate jali work, and detailed interiors inspired by Mughal, Rajput, Punjabi, and Persian influences. With over 300,000 square feet of event space, including the expansive Rani ka Bagh and Raja ka Bagh lawns, as well as the ornate Sheesh Mahal and Darbar Hall, the hotel is positioned as a major destination for weddings and large-scale celebrations.
The hotel offers 176 rooms and suites, each designed to reflect a balance of tradition and comfort. Rich fabrics, handcrafted furniture, and thoughtful layouts define the guest experience. The standout accommodations include the Raja Niwas and Khwabgah penthouses, which come with private terraces, spacious living areas, and personalised butler service, offering a reimagined version of royal living.
Dining at Noormahal is built around four distinct venues. The Frontier Mail highlights North-Western frontier cuisine, drawing from historic trade routes and royal kitchens. Colonel Saab serves all-day dining with a mix of Indian and international dishes. The Polo Bar offers a refined space for cocktails, while The Cake Factory focuses on artisanal desserts.
Beyond its architecture and cuisine, the hotel also focuses on wellness and recreation. Guests can access a full-service spa offering curated therapies, including the signature Aroma Bliss experience. Facilities also include a gym, outdoor pool, and a range of activities such as tennis, pickleball, ziplining, and rock climbing. A dedicated Kids Play Zone ensures engagement for younger visitors.
Strategically located on NH44, the property is easily accessible from Delhi, Chandigarh, Ambala, and Ludhiana. It is around two hours from major airports in Delhi and Chandigarh, and just 15 minutes from Karnal Railway Station, making it suitable for both leisure travellers and corporate guests.
