ServiceNow has announced the appointment of Kulmeet Bawa as Managing Director and Group Vice President for India and the SAARC region. The move reflects the company’s strategic focus on strengthening its presence in one of the world’s fastest-growing digital markets.
Kulmeet Bawa brings more than two decades of experience in enterprise technology and SaaS businesses, both in India and globally. He joins ServiceNow after serving as Global Chief Revenue Officer at SAP, where he led global revenue strategy and execution. Prior to that, he held the role of President and Managing Director for SAP India, playing a key role in expanding the company’s footprint in the region.
Earlier in his career, Bawa also served as President and Managing Director for South Asia at Adobe, where he contributed to strengthening the company’s growth across key markets. His extensive leadership experience across major technology firms positions him well to drive ServiceNow’s next phase of expansion in India and neighbouring countries.
Before entering the corporate world, Bawa spent over 12 years in the Indian Army as a Cavalry officer. This early experience has shaped his leadership style, instilling discipline, strategic thinking and a strong sense of responsibility. These qualities are expected to play a significant role as he takes on his new responsibilities at ServiceNow.
In his new role, Bawa will lead business operations across India and the SAARC region, with a focus on accelerating growth, deepening customer relationships and strengthening the company’s position in digital transformation. He will be based in New Delhi and will officially assume charge from April 6, 2026.
Adrian Johnston, President APAC at ServiceNow, expressed confidence in the appointment, stating that India is not just a growth market but a critical driver of the company’s global ambitions. He highlighted Bawa’s unique blend of global experience, regional understanding and disciplined leadership as key factors that make him well-suited for the role.
Kulmeet Bawa, commenting on his appointment, said he is excited to lead ServiceNow’s India and SAARC operations at a time when digital transformation is reshaping businesses across sectors. He emphasised the importance of building strong partnerships with customers and helping organisations unlock the full potential of the ServiceNow platform.
