Soha Ali Khan and Nushrratt Bharuccha recently appeared in an IMDb exclusive, sharing their behind-the-scenes experiences from the horror sequel Chhorii 2. The film, directed by Vishal Furia, is a continuation of the 2021 thriller and follows the gripping story of a mother trying to save her daughter from a deadly cult. The stars revealed how physically and emotionally demanding the shoot was, offering fans a glimpse into the challenges of filming horror.

Nushrratt feared drowning during a well stunt

While speaking about the toughest scene from the film, Nushrratt Bharuccha recalled her fear of shooting in and around a well. “I’m terrified of water,” she said, adding that she had to perform a scene that involved falling into the well. The sequence demanded high intensity, coordination, and courage, pushing her out of her comfort zone. Despite her fear, she managed to complete the scene, calling it one of the most difficult moments during the shoot.

Soha was tied and suspended for her role

For Soha Ali Khan, the challenge was more physical than emotional. She explained how many of her scenes involved her being wrapped tightly in a black blanket, suspended from ropes. “I was completely helpless,” she said. “If someone dropped me, I couldn’t even protect my face.” The role demanded serious core strength as she had to levitate and perform without support. Soha described it as one of the most physically demanding characters she has played.

Soha chose this film to go dark

Soha also spoke about why she chose Chhorii 2 as her comeback film. She said she enjoyed the first part and was excited to be a part of its sequel. More importantly, she was drawn to the opportunity of playing a dark, negative character, something she had never done before. “It’s eerie, sinister, and involved prosthetics and VFX,” she said. She trusted the director and producer’s vision and felt proud of the final result.
