In an era marked by academic pressure, digital overload and rising expectations, stress has become an unavoidable part of student life. Recognising the growing mental health challenges faced by young women, an interactive stress management session was organised at St. Pauls Institute of Communication Education for Women, offering students practical strategies to cope with everyday pressures.

The session, held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, saw the participation of over 100 students and was organised by Holy Family Hospital, Bandra (West). Renowned psychiatrists Dr. Neeti Sapru and Dr. Aditi Udeshi led the programme, shedding light on the evolving nature of stress and its impact on emotional wellbeing.

Rather than following a conventional lecture format, the session focused on dialogue and engagement. Students were encouraged to openly discuss concerns related to academic stress, career uncertainty, social expectations and excessive digital engagement. The experts provided practical insights and coping techniques, helping students better understand and manage stress in their daily lives.

The initiative emphasised that stress is not a sign of weakness, but a common challenge that can be effectively managed with the right awareness and tools. By fostering open conversations around mental health, the session aimed to empower young women with resilience, confidence and emotional strength to navigate both personal and academic challenges.
