KIMS Hospitals, Thane, and Emoha Eldercare have joined hands to create a new chapter in senior healthcare. The partnership was announced on World Senior Citizen Day before 200 elders at KIMS Hospitals. The event also included a free super speciality health camp for senior citizens.
This collaboration aims to ensure care does not stop at hospital discharge. Emoha, a leading geriatric care provider, will offer home-based support for elders recovering after treatment at KIMS. The initiative reduces the risk of relapse and readmission while ensuring seniors feel safe and supported in their own homes.
The Emoha team of trained caregivers and nurses will manage medicines, monitor vitals, and assist with daily health needs. Emotional well-being is also central to the plan. Through the Emoha App, seniors can access online shows, interactive sessions, and community activities designed to keep them active and engaged.
KIMS Hospitals has positioned itself as a pioneer in integrated elder care. Regional COO Saurabh Gupta said the programme is about combining hospital expertise with personalised home support. Emoha CEO Saumyajit Roy added that the partnership ensures elders live with dignity, safety, and joy.
The launch marks a decisive step toward building Thane’s most holistic elder care ecosystem, blending medical excellence with compassionate companionship.
