Yamaha has announced a ₹1.10 lakh price reduction for its R3 and MT-03 motorcycles in India, effective from 1 February 2025. The move aims to make premium performance motorcycles more accessible amid rising demand.
Following the price cut, the Yamaha R3 will now be available at ₹3,59,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi) in Icon Blue and Yamaha Black. The MT-03, known for its streetfighter design, will cost ₹3,49,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and will be available in Midnight Cyan and Midnight Black.
This price revision coincides with the global 10th anniversary of the R3, a model known for its lightweight diamond frame, aerodynamic design inspired by the YZR-M1, and a 321cc parallel-twin engine. The R3’s 50:50 weight distribution and advanced braking system enhance both track and road performance.
The MT-03, featuring an aggressive streetfighter design, upright riding position, and twin-LED headlight, shares the same 321cc engine as the R3, offering strong torque and smooth acceleration. Its compact build and mono-cross rear suspension make it ideal for urban riding.
The price cut reinforces Yamaha’s commitment to the affordable premium motorcycle segment in India. The company aims to strengthen its position in the growing market by offering competitive pricing for high-performance models.
