The Ministry of Ayush has introduced the Ayush Suraksha Portal, a digital platform aimed at addressing misleading advertisements and adverse drug reactions (ADRs) in traditional medicine. Launched on 30 May 2025 at Ayush Bhawan, New Delhi, the portal seeks to enhance transparency and accountability within the Ayush sector.
The portal enables consumers, healthcare professionals, and regulatory authorities to report misleading advertisements and ADRs through a user-friendly interface. It integrates data from State Licensing Authorities, national pharmacovigilance centres, and key regulatory stakeholders, facilitating real-time monitoring and coordinated action.
Developed with technical support from the Central Council for Research in Siddha (CCRS) and aligned with the National Pharmacovigilance Program, the portal ensures a seamless digital process for reporting and monitoring. It also aligns with the Supreme Court’s directive from July 2024, mandating the establishment of a centralized dashboard for monitoring and publishing data related to misleading advertisements and ADRs.The Ayush Suraksha Portal reflects the Ministry’s commitment to responsible governance and the safety of citizens relying on traditional systems of medicine.
