India’s first E2C brand debuts with a raw, heart-led performance at NCPA.
In a bold break from traditional product launches, India witnessed the birth of DilSe – the country’s first Experiences-to-Consumer (E2C) brand – through an emotional live showcase on 15 July 2025 at the Experimental Theatre, NCPA, Mumbai.
But this wasn’t a typical unveiling. It was a memory in motion.
The two-hour immersive performance, titled “DilSe – The Love Theatrical,” pulled audiences into a deeply personal narrative told through original poetry, live vocals, moving theatre, and cinematic storytelling. It was not just a show – it was a soul-led experience designed to be felt.
Every piece – from words to visuals – was created for this single moment. Written and conceptualised by Harshavardhan Chauhaan, the theatrical journey explored themes of love, memory, vulnerability, and human connection.
Directed by Sumitt Sharmaa, the performance featured original music by Dilip Rawat and Rahul Bhalla, with stirring vocals from Devikaa Singh, Toshi Rawal, Ria Bhalla, and Ravinder Pathak. The cast also included Aman Uppal, Dia Rajput, Gautam, and the vibrant DilSe Girl & Ensemble.
The event was split into two parts: a closed-door premiere for select media, creators, and patrons – followed by a public ticketed performance via District by Zomato. Both showcases received a powerful emotional response from attendees.
But behind the emotion lies something revolutionary. DilSe isn’t selling fashion or tech. It’s creating emotional rituals. It’s building an ecosystem where voice, story, sound, and connection are central to the product.
This new model – Experiences-to-Consumer – steps beyond product-led commerce and into the realm of affective branding. Here, what’s delivered isn’t something to use – it’s something to feel.
Chauhaan, also the founder of The Happyness Collective, reflected:
“This wasn’t a launch. This was a soul contract. Every word came from places we hide, the feelings we silence. We didn’t act – we remembered. DilSe isn’t built on noise. It’s built on resonance.”
Following the success of this premiere, DilSe is preparing to launch India’s first soul-led digital app on 23 July 2025. From August onward, the brand will begin unveiling “product rituals” – emotional wearables and experiences that extend the live performance into everyday life.
With this move, DilSe positions itself not as a seller of things – but a weaver of memories. And in a world built on algorithms, it dares to speak to the soul.
