Coca-Cola marked a major milestone in India’s cultural and musical landscape with the launch of the first-ever Coke Studio Bharat LIVE, transforming its popular digital music platform into a large-scale live experience. For the first time, Coke Studio Bharat moved beyond screens to create on-ground celebrations that brought artists, fans and communities together through music, food and shared moments.
The inaugural edition unfolded across two culturally distinct cities, New Delhi on January 10 and Guwahati on January 13, offering audiences a powerful blend of national resonance and regional authenticity. Designed as a live extension of Coke Studio Bharat, the initiative aimed to celebrate India’s diverse musical voices while fostering genuine connections between performers and fans.
Speaking about the launch, Shantanu Gangane, IMX Lead, Coca-Cola India and Southwest Asia, said the live format allowed the platform to create experiences that went beyond passive listening. He noted that Coke Studio Bharat LIVE brought together music, food and community participation, creating memorable moments such as artist collaborations, unreleased track previews and fans sharing the stage with performers.
Delhi: A Grand Opening
The journey began at NSIC Grounds, Okhla, where music lovers gathered for an evening that highlighted the emotional depth and contemporary evolution of Indian music. Performances by Shreya Ghoshal, Aditya Rikhari, Rashmeet Kaur, Divyam and Khwaab showcased how modern Indian sounds effortlessly cross genres and generations.
A standout moment saw Aditya Rikhari preview an unreleased Coke Studio Bharat track live on stage. The evening concluded with a special medley led by Shreya Ghoshal, joined by fellow artists, followed by a memorable fan moment when a selected audience member sang alongside her.
Guwahati: Celebrating the Northeast
The second stop at ACA Stadium, Barsapara placed a strong spotlight on the Northeast’s musical identity. Artists Anuv Jain, Shankuraj Konwar, Rito Riba and Anoushka Maskey delivered performances rooted in regional storytelling and emotional expression. The night culminated in a collective rendition of Arz Kiya Hai, followed by intimate fan interactions and unplugged backstage sessions.
Beyond music, the event featured curated food experiences and Coca-Cola’s #MaidaanSaaf initiative, promoting responsible waste management through organised recycling efforts.
With its successful debut, Coke Studio Bharat LIVE has set a new benchmark for immersive cultural experiences in India.
